Custom & Personalized Orders

We love creating custom and personalized pieces whenever possible! If you are looking for a specific size, quantity, or design not currently listed in our shop, please contact us to discuss your ideas.

Please note:

  • All custom and personalized orders are final sale.
  • Due to the unique nature of custom work, we cannot offer returns, exchanges, cancellations, or refunds on custom items once production has started.
  • Custom items are created specifically for you and cannot be resold.

Shipping Information

Shipping costs are calculated based on package size, weight, destination, and carrier rates.

If shipping appears unusually high, please contact us before placing your order and we’ll gladly review the best available shipping options for your location.

We ship using trusted carriers including:

  • USPS
  • UPS
  • FedEx

Returns, Exchanges & Alterations

Due to the handmade and often customized nature of our products, we do not accept:

  • Returns
  • Exchanges
  • Post-delivery alterations

Please carefully review all listing details and communicate any special requests before placing your order. We always do our best to accommodate requests when possible.

Clear communication is extremely important during the ordering process.


Refund Policy

Because each item is handmade and created specifically for your order, refunds are not offered.

However:

  • Orders shipped through USPS include up to $100 insurance coverage.
  • If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Customers should retain all original packaging and take clear photos of both the item and packaging for insurance claims.

Additional shipping insurance may be purchased upon request prior to checkout.


Lost, Delayed or Stolen Packages

Once an order has been shipped and accepted by the carrier, delivery responsibility transfers to the shipping provider.

Toying Around / HobKnobin is not responsible for:

  • Carrier delays
  • Lost packages
  • Stolen packages
  • Delivery issues beyond our control

If needed, we are happy to assist customers with carrier communication and tracking information whenever possible.


Returned Packages

If a package is returned to sender for any reason, including incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses:

  • The customer is responsible for all re-shipping costs.
  • Refunds will not be issued for returned packages.

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.


Wholesale & Bulk Orders

We happily offer wholesale and bulk pricing on many products.

Typical wholesale minimums:

  • 50+ pieces
  • $150 minimum order

Additional details:

  • Bulk discounts vary by quantity ordered
  • Many products can be customized
  • Turnaround times vary depending on order size
  • Shipping quotes are available upon request

Rush Orders

Standard processing time is typically:
3–5 business days

If you need your order sooner, please contact us before purchasing to discuss:

  • Expedited shipping options
  • Additional rush fees

Sales & Discounts

Prices and promotions are valid only during the active sale period.

Please note:

  • Previous orders cannot be adjusted for future sales or discounts.
  • Coupon codes and promotional discounts cannot be applied to custom, wholesale, or bulk orders unless specifically stated.

Additional Shipping Charges

While we work hard to keep shipping costs accurate, occasional shipping adjustments may occur due to:

  • Natural wood weight variations
  • Oversized packages
  • Combined orders
  • International shipping differences

If additional shipping payment is required:

  • We will contact you before processing the order further.
  • A detailed shipping breakdown will be provided.
