Return & Refund Policy

At Toying Around & HobKnobin, every item is thoughtfully handmade and often made-to-order using natural wood materials. Because of the custom and handmade nature of our products, we ask customers to carefully review all item details before placing an order.

Returns & Exchanges

We do not accept returns or exchanges on any of our items. However, if there is an issue with your order, please contact us and we will always do our best to help.

Damaged Orders

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Include clear photos of:
    • The damaged item
    • Packaging materials
    • Shipping box and label

Many shipments include carrier insurance coverage, and we’ll gladly help guide you through the claims process when applicable.

Lost, Delayed or Stolen Packages

Once an order has been shipped and accepted by the shipping carrier, delivery responsibility transfers to the carrier.

We are not responsible for:

  • Carrier delays
  • Lost packages
  • Stolen packages
  • Incorrect shipping addresses entered at checkout

If you experience a shipping issue, we recommend contacting the shipping carrier directly. We are always happy to assist with tracking information whenever possible.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address at checkout.

If a package is returned to sender due to:

  • Incorrect address
  • Insufficient address
  • Failure to collect package

The customer will be responsible for any re-shipping fees. Refunds will not be issued for returned packages.

Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled within 12 hours of purchase if production has not yet begun.

Once production starts on handmade or custom items, cancellations cannot be accepted.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are only considered if:

  • The wrong item was received
  • The item arrives severely damaged
  • There is a verified issue caused by our shop

Approved refunds will be issued back to the original payment method.
